Call for Abstracts
Call for Abstracts: Edited collection provisionally entitled Adoption: Philosophical Perspectives and Reflections A/Prof Lisa Cassidy (Ramapo College of New Jersey, US) and A/Prof Mianna Lotz (Macquarie University, Australia) invite submissions of chapter abstracts for Adoption: Philosophical Perspectives and Reflections, a proposed collection of new essays (currently under discussion with Lexington Books). The aim of the collection is to bring attention to a diverse range of currently underexplored topics in the broad field of philosophical analysis of adoption and its implications and realities – ethical, epistemological, social, and political – for individuals, families, communities, and society more widely. Confirmed contributors to the proposed collection include: Brian Burkhart (University of Oklahoma), Lisa Cassidy (Ramapo College of New Jersey), Susan Harness (Colorado State University), Frances Latchford (York University, Toronto), Mianna Lotz (Macquarie University), Bo
